Inter Alliance Tourney

Details to be finalised then we can get rocking, my suggestions are here:

Things that need to be done imo:

team size?
number of teams per clan?
match size?
start date?
dates for each stage of competition?
penalty for failing to make a match?
action in case of tie?
maps/server/setup to be used?

think that should do it and then we just need to show up, have a proper table made up and play in the time periods we are given.

I think you are being to ambitious, I for one want to play as part of an all PA team - to have teams of 5 or 6 is a great idea, but i think you should stick to 3v3 matches, the entire team on both sides WILL NOT all turn up when they say they will, the tournement will die llike every other one.

One solution would be to simply ask each clan to split their players in to 2 lists - that would give 8 teams of varying numbers - then each clan needs to get only 3 from that list to get a fw going. this should mean people will be on and it will be the active members that play most games, thus hopefully the tourney won't die - if this is succseful then perhaps you could look into running tourneys like this regularly through SN and we can look at increasing teams/game sizes when we know how this one goes.

ok this all sounds great but how are we going to organize teams?? we should get the teams from the different clans on their forums and then post them here

well if you are happy with my idea, simply get leaders to allocate members to two groups and then post the times for the first 4 matches.

I really think that we should have teams that are bigger than 3.

3 vs 3 games are a little boring and seem to go nowhere. And generally end up as just snipe battles

I would like larger games, the larger games get though the more difficult it gets to organise them - 4v4 should be good if each clan only enters 2 teams perhaps??

why only 2 teams, cause we on kobra can make 3 teams of 4 for sure... but k, the other teams must have as many as the other got... think about it pirate..

Perhaps Vult you can just decide the rules and give us a sign up post, just bear in mind I don't think PA can put in 3 teams of 6
